Q: What has it felt like to play in your last lacrosse season?
A: I’m really going to miss it next year. The team really motivates me to do my best work, day in and day out. We also have a really good team this year, so I’m looking forward to seeing how we do in the postseason, and if we get to play Summit again. Getting a chance to get back at them would be nice.
Q: Has it been challenging to balance lacrosse and school for four years of high school?
A: It’s definitely something good to have to practice time management, especially for things like college, going home, doing homework after my practice and overall making sure I get everything done. It’s been difficult, but it’s definitely a good skill to have. And this year it’s been a lot easier. You know, second semester, senior year, looking forward to graduating.
Q: How has senioritis affected you as someone who is a senior at SPFHS coming down the final stretch?
A: Senioritis has definitely hit hard. It’s been hard to deal with, but I’m getting by and doing all my work. My grades aren’t dropping, which is good, but there’s definitely times when I get home and I don’t want to do my homework because we’re leaving soon (May 18th) for our senior project.
Q: What are your plans for life after high school?
A: I’m planning to go to Indiana University next year and major in finance.
Q: What are you excited for leading up to graduation?
A: Before graduation, I’m definitely looking forward to prom, as well as prom weekend, which is a real once-in-a-lifetime high school opportunity. But after graduation, I’m gonna miss my friends a lot.
