The fourth seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School girls volleyball team outlasted the 13th seeded Linden Tigers in three sets on Oct. 20 in the first round of the Union County Tournament at SPFHS.
The Raiders started off well as they won the first set by a score of 25-17.
Linden took the second set 25-18, forcing a deciding third set. However, the Raiders rebounded in the third set. They took the lead from the first point and never looked back, winning the set handily 25-17.
