The golf team lost to Summit High School today, April 23, with a final score of 173-174. The match was tied at 174, but Summit’s player had the lowest score (a 40), so he is known as the Medalist, which earns the team a one stroke deduction. Freshman John Pak shot a 42; junior Connor Smith shot a 41; senior Brennan Brady shot a 44, and junior Tyler Dencker shot a 47.
“It was really difficult conditions today,” said head coach Ryan Goracy, “It was not our best experience; we can do better and we’ll learn from it.” The golf team will be playing Saint Peter’s Prep tomorrow at Shackamaxon Country Club.
