After a particularly rough first week of the season the Lady Raiders lacrosse team scored their second win in grueling game against Pascack Valley on Thursday April 7.
The game ended with a score of 15-11. The future of the game started to look grim at halftime, but the girls quickly turned the game around and were able to cinch a win.
Key players of the game include seniors Becky Mehorter, Haley Monahan, Erin O’Connor and sophomores Amber Bretz, Sabrina DiLollo, Kelly Mehorter, and Erika Muskus.
Muskus was the leading scorer of the game, contributing five goals. Monahan and Bretz scored two goals each, while Becky Mehorter, Kelly Mehorter, and DiLollo had one goal each. O’Connor made a total of ten saves.
The girl’s record now stands at 2-2, which is a good start to the season.
The Raiders have one more home game to round out the week against Columbia on Saturday.
