On Feb. 7, DECA students enrolled in the Marketing II class hosted local entrepreneurs and community leaders for the annual Entrepreneurship Breakfast in the high school multipurpose room to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Week.
In attendance were representatives from Dairy Queen, K9 Resorts, Appleblossoms, Little Gym, Valley National Bank, Family Investors, Mara’s Café, Be Craftful and Mickey Marcus, ESQ, LLC.
After the meal provided by the Marketing II class, the students had the opportunity to speak with the local professionals. The students asked questions about the experience of owning, financing and operating a business.
