Lacrosse team defeats Newark East Side for their last game

On Tuesday May 13, the Raiders Boys Varsity Lacrosse team took on the Newark East Side boys’ varsity lacrosse team coming out with a 18-2 victory for their last regular season game. Throughout the game, two goals were scored each by  Thomas Walker, David Walker, Johnny Horre, Declan Murphy and Joe Griffith. Goalie Chris Duffy made a total of eight saves during the game. Declan Murphy had eight shots on goal, the most during the game, followed by Mike Rothman with six. Jack Gerrity also won six of his seven faceoffs. On Saturday, May 17 the Raiders continue in the state tournament with a home game at 11 a.m.
