DECA students qualify at the Regional Competition and Advance to States

On Jan. 8, the DECA Regional Career Development Conference took place at Middlesex County College. The DECA chapter had over 110 competing members at the competition. There were 47 members that qualified to compete at the State Career Development Conference that will take place in Cherry Hill from March 13-15. In each individual event, the top 13 competitors qualify while the top 7 qualify in team events. Seniors Eric Tannenbaum, Vikrant Ghate, Paul Kussner, Yi Pu Lin, Nikhil Patel, Stefanie DiPaolo, Sara Sutherland, Kelsey Ames, Lucy Hollander, Amanda Mach, Justin Giacona, Joe Pagano, Caitlin Flood, Liz Nardone, Jasson Mazzetti, Tyler Haas, Amanda Marcus, Rachel Schack, juniors Sarah Barash, Sam Broders, Maxine Manville, Natalia Laureiro, Madison Banker, Elizabeth Hom, Nicole Nilsen, sophomore Mariel Sass and freshman Max Mazursky all placed top three in their events. Other finalists include seniors Kiera Jacob, Dea Tsutskiridze, Julia Lavelle, Paige Morrison, Amanda Malool, Jenny Lynch, Andrea McNeely, Brandon Meyers, juniors Kevin Maxwell, Corin Bell, Auva Dariani, sophomores Noah Bernstein, Tyler O’Brian, Luke Uriarte, Darya Ganzha and freshman Maddie Sassoon, Robbie Viglione, and Micaela Valli.
