Seniors Jessie Klein, Alexandra Peluso, Samantha Renfree and Taylor Sebolao and junior Jessica Banasiak were recognized at Union County College’s first Outstanding Women Leaders Night on April 24. The event honored the accomplishments of the county’s female athletes and the 40th anniversary of Title IX, which gave equal rights to female athletes. To be nominated by their coaches, the athletes must be on a varsity squad, have a GPA of at least 3.0 and participate in community service.
