On Dec. 12, 2025, Swift released two of her six-episode docuseries capturing her time on the Eras Tour. It featured behind-the-scenes footage as well as clips of her singing and dancing during her tour.
In 2020, Swift previously released a personal documentary named “Miss Americana,” which was a big success and touched the hearts of many who could relate. In 2023, she premiered an Eras Tour movie in theaters that showed the full three-hour show, allowing fans who weren’t able to attend to watch it from home.
Several of Swift’s fellow artists and friends appear throughout the docuseries including Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter.
The first episode focuses on Swift’s emotional journey, highlighting the challenges she experienced when a terrorist threat caused the Vienna tour dates to be canceled. Along with that, we see her express her emotions after a deadly attack at a Swift-themed dance party that occurred in England.
This episode depicts her nervousness and anticipation for her upcoming London shows, and features a supportive phone call she receives from her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Fans also get a look at some behind-the-scenes rehearsals with her choreographer, Mandy Moore, Sheeran and her background dancers.
Now, the second episode captures her revamping the tour midway to add her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” to the set. She brings out fellow artist, Welch, and they sang a song from that album, “Florida,” in a special performance during the last night in London.
Additionally, we see her give bonuses to all of the crew, with her writing personalized notes, and we see her distributing them. As of now, fans are wondering how much the mysterious bonus was, and are currently speculating online.
Once I finished watching the two episodes, it only left me wanting more! I appreciated how it blended some of the dancers’ backgrounds with the fun rehearsals/on-stage performances. All together, it offered fans an intimate but well-rounded view at life during the Eras Tour.
While the first two episodes have only been released so far, the remaining four are set to premiere over the next two weeks, so be sure to watch it only on Disney+!
