On March 19, 2026, Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” was cancelled by ABC just three days before its scheduled release. This decision followed the release of the video showing Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortenson, who were involved in a domestic conflict. In the video, Paul is seen throwing a chair that nearly hit her daughter, Indy. This occurred in 2023, where Paul was arrested shortly after.
Fellow MomTok co-stars Layla Taylor and Miranda Hope have spoken out amidst the domestic abuse drama.
“Everything has been really heavy to see,” Hope said via an Instagram story. “Domestic violence and abuse of any kind is something I take very seriously. As a human, and especially a mother. I cannot support that kind of behavior.”
“My personal history as a survivor makes it impossible for me to stay silent,” Taylor said via an Instagram story. “I stand firmly against domestic violence in any form.”
This same day, it became public knowledge that Jordan Ngatikaura and Jessi Draper filed for divorce. In season three, the couple struggled after Draper’s cheating scandal during her time at Vanderpump Villa, ultimately causing a downfall with their relationship.
Currently, Draper has continued to generate more conflict because she is posting videos with Marciano Brunette, the man she had an affair with. Not only this, but it came out that Draper recently kissed Chase McWhorter at a party, who previously dated Hope and Kate Racker.
Earlier that week, the news of Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry’s separation was released to the public. In season three and four, they were experiencing intimacy issues due to Matthew’s past traumas from her childhood.
Overall, MomTok is going through multiple controversies leaving the future for season five uncertain.
