After the release of her latest album, “Thank U, Next” Ariana Grande became the first artist to hold the first, second and third spots on the Billboard Hot 100 songs list since The Beatles. These three songs are all featured on her new album.
The song that holds the number one spot is “7 rings.” “7 rings” has held the top spot on Billboard for the past four weeks. This song has around 63.5 million streams in the U.S., which has risen 10 percent  since the week of Feb. 14.
The song that is ranked as number two from the new album is “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.” The song was released on Feb. 8th and was able to come up with 59.2 million streams.
The song that sits in the third spot is her song called “Thank U, Next.” Within 24 hours, the music video for this song received 46 million views. The video is inspired by four different movies, “Bring it On,” “Mean Girls,” “Legally Blonde” and “13 Going on 30.” The video also features many familiar celebrities including Jonathan Bennett, Kris Jenner, Elizabeth Gillies and many more. The video also broke the YouTube record for the amount of views in a music video in 24 hours.
Grande was able to make a new album in just six months after she dropped her fourth album “Sweetener.” She broke records with “Sweetener” and is continuing to break records with her fifth album “Thank U, Next.”
Grande will be remembered for her accomplishments relating to her record breaking albums. There is no doubt that in the coming years she will keep creating more successful albums and continue to defy expectations.
