In preparation for the SAT, a standardized test that most students take as part of their college application process, sophomore and junior students took the PSAT on Oct. 12. The new mandatory PSAT replaces NJPASS, a statewide-standardized test. “The PSAT is a great way for students to see what they need to improve on before they take the SAT during their junior and senior years. It allows students the opportunity to see where they are [academically] and be in the running for a National Merit Scholarship,” said Timothy Donahue, assistant principal.
