The Wilson family of Scotch Plains, who led a campaign to legalize edible medical marijuana for children, will be moving to Denver so that their daughter can receive a specific strain of medical marijuana to treat her seizure condition. The Wilsons worked with Assemblywoman Linda Stender (D-Union) to promote legislation that would permit New Jersey residents to order medical marijuana from out-of-state dispensaries, a bill that is opposed by Governor Christie. In Colorado, the needed strain and dosages of medical marijuana are more readily available.
