Of the 20 DECA members that attended the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California four became international finalists. Juniors Paul Kussner and Vikrant Ghate were finalists in the Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making event. Junior Eric Tannenbaum was a finalist in the Business Finance Services event. Junior Lucy Hollander became a finalist in the Hotel Lodging and Management event and later placed third overall. This is the first time in four years that Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School has had an international finalist.
