There is something new for the students of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School this year. Earlier this school year, a brand new Cybersecurity Club was founded.
Freshmen Matt London and Coby Rodriguez started the club, which aims to teach students about how networks are hacked. Members of the club will eventually be able to find ways to prevent these hacks from occurring.
“I decided to start this club so that more students can see how cyber security works and the major role that it has in our technologically advanced world,” London said.
London is the club’s president, while Rodriguez is the club’s vice president. Mr. Rittner acts as the advisor.
The Cybersecurity Club meets in Room 128 every Tuesday, from 2:30 to 3:00.
