From May 26 to May 28, Taylor Swift took MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford by storm. Over the three nights, a total of around 217,000 fans attended the concert. Swift’s “The Era Tour” had songs ranging from the beginning to present of her music career, with a total of 44 songs on the set list, not including the two surprise songs.

It’s been a long time coming, but Swift is back with her first tour in five years. The Era’s Tour was first announced on Nov. 1, 2022, and first opened in Glendale, Arizona, on Mar. 17. Each concert features two openers to begin the festivities.

One of the major things fans look out for is the nightly surprise songs. Each night, two songs are picked, not from the setlist, one is played on the guitar and one is played on the piano. Friday night the surprise songs were “Getaway Car” with Jack Antonoff and “Maroon”, night two featured “Holy Ground” and “False God”, and night three featured “Welcome to New York” and “Clean.”

Rising artist, Phoebe Bridgers, made her last memories as she parted from the tour. As one of Swifts’ “favorite artists”, Bridgers enjoyed her last moments on the stage with Swift as they sang “Nothing New” together.

“The Era’s Tour was definitely the best concert I have been to. There was constant energy, excitement, and Taylor constantly kept up her flawless performance, even three hours later,” Concert Attendee Dan Murphy said.

After a long but thrilling night, Taylor finishes it all by bringing out Ice Spice during Karma. The night ended with fireworks, as the rapper made her way across the stage.

“Even for a Taylor Swift concert, you can tell that she didn’t want to make it all about her. That’s what I love about her, as she is constantly bringing up smaller artists and dancers, giving them the spotlight,” Concert Attendee Sequoia Pilgrim said.

Swift left MetLife, leaving fans in a lavender haze for the rest of the weekend, forever being in everyone’s wildest dreams. But the tour is far from over as she continues to travel across the nation, are you ready for it?
