On Friday, Dec. 15, the Bible Club ran a fundraising event at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School at Door 1 and Door 12 before school. The event ran from 7:15-8am, attracting hungry students as they entered the premises in the morning.

The fundraiser was sponsored by Fanwood Bagel and all earnings will cover the cost of Bible Club events for students and teachers in the future. Plain bagels and chocolate milk were available to everyone who wanted to enjoy a tasty breakfast before class. Cream cheese and butter were also available for purchase.

The costs were as follows: a plain bagel with cream cheese or butter costed $3 and chocolate milk costed $2.

Bible Club student officers were running the sales at both locations and they were glad to see such a large turnout. If people weren’t able to attend in the morning, bagels and chocolate milk were still available after dismissal.

“The sale was for everyone, but we did have a limited supply of 200 plain bagels,” junior club officer Graeme Daniskas said. “[Supporting] the Bible Club [at] our fundraiser…[helps] the students and teachers of SPFHS.”

The Bible Club was grateful for everyone who contributed during the fundraiser and is always welcoming new members to join!
