The annual pep rally began with the cheerleaders’ energetic chants of “SPF”. Students cheered as they were tossed into the air, and it was the perfect way to start off their season.
Student council members then introduced themselves, and senior class president Taylor Diggs wished everyone a good year through a variety of song lyrics. The theme for this year is, “United through…” and students will decide what unites the SPFHS community.
The stand out performance was the Blue Diamonds step team, who stepped out on the track to excited cheers. The Sensations also gave an outstanding performance, truly showing how much talent there is in SPFHS.
All together, it was the perfect way to kick off the 2017 school year. Have a great year, SPFHS!
