Hundreds of choir members came together and sung their hearts out during the 2017 Spring Choral Concert on Thursday, May 4th. Interim choir director Taylor Rehe directed the concert along with Park Middle School choir director, Jennifer Jenkins. The concert featured performances by all of SPFHS’s choral ensembles, including concert choir, Las Cantadoras, Men’s choir, select choir, chamber choir, and the Sensations. A select few seniors also performed songs from musicals and movies in featured solo acts. The seniors also performed their senior song, “For Good” from the musical Wicked and SPFHS choir director Jan Allen made a special appearance to conduct the selection. The seniors will be performing their senior song at graduation on June 22nd. While this spring concert marked the end of the choir year for many, a few of the after school choirs will be performing in the NJ ACDA Choral Festival at Rutgers University during the week of May 15th.
