Last night, the Board of Education recognized a number of high school students for their various academic, athletic, and extracurricular accomplishments.
Superintendent Margaret Hayes and members of the board presenters included Dr. David Heisey, athletic director Ryan Miller, step team coach Tashira Wheeler, journalism advisors Heidi Novik and Liz Tessi, world language supervisor Linda Materna, choir director Jan Allen, and Moonglowers director and arts supervisor Vincent Tutteriello.
The moonglowers opened the night with a performance; a nice nod to Tutteriello, considering he will be retiring following this year.
All of the recognized students received resolutions from the Board of Education, and some students also received medals for their accomplishments.
