The SPF Boys Varsity Tennis Team took a loss on Monday, April 11 at La Grande Park after an intense match against Summit High School.
In a series of doubles and singles, the players started off with powerful serves. Key player Ewan Jones ended the meet with an intense singles match and came out a winner. “I think I did pretty good, started off slow and lost first set, but I was able to take my time and come back towards the end and obviously pull out the win,” said Jones. Although the team lost, Coach Wasser advised the team to “continue to work hard and believe you can win.”
