Benedetto Bilotta, 18, passed away the night of March 13 after a fight with meningococcal. Bilotta was a visitor to our school during last year’s Italian exchange program, and he was considered a close friend by many of our students who met him during the program. Though he left us far too soon, he will always be remembered for his laugh, and his kind heart. Bilotta has been laid to rest in his home town of Vibo Valencia, in Calabria, Italy.
