The Students Concerned for the Needy group at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School is holding their eighth annual Pajama Drive, an effort to collect pajamas for children who need them. The pajamas that are collected will be dispersed among receiving organizations that work closely with the needy and care for homeless children in throughout Union County. Community members may donate new pajamas for a child, boy or girl, ages infant to 17.
If considering a donation, be sure to leave all tags on the pajamas. SCN’s Pajama Drive will run through October 30, 2015. You can drop off any donations in SPFHS’s athletic office. Coldwell Banker Agents from the Westfield East Office (209 Central Avenue, Westfield) are also collecting PJ’s for SCN. Please visit the Pajama Program www.pajamaprogram.org to learn more.
To learn more about SPFHS’s SCN group and volunteer opportunities, log on to www.scnonline.org. SCN wishes to thank the community members in advance for their generous donations and to display the same amount of generosity for upcoming drives. With your donations, fewer children in Union County will go to bed cold this winter.
