Last year- Under head coach Gary Wasserman, Scotch Plains has always done a great job during the boys tennis season. Going into the 2015 season, five seniors return from the 2014 team, including star senior and Fairfield University commit, Jeff Rodgers. Last year, Rodgers led the Raiders to 14 match wins, along with a campaign that led to the North 2, Group 4 quarter finals.
Preview- With the experience of Rodgers and the other four seniors, Matthew Bozcon, Matthew Haas, Derek Offitzer, and Cobi Silverstein, SPFHS looks destined for a deep run in county’s and states. Accompanying the five seniors are underclassmen, freshmen Brandon Glickson and Adam Mayerson and sophomores Ewan Jones and Robbie Viglione, they will be sure to provide sparks throughout the season.
