Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) filmed a commercial written by seniors Julia Lavelle, Lucy Hollander, Mia Rossi, Amanda Marcus, Rachel Schack, Nick Patel and Caitlin Flood last year produced by Emmy Award winning producer Alan Weiss. The National Road Safety Foundation (NSRF) contacted the producer who invited the SADD chapter to appear in a short safe driving educational video to be filmed at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. Today the students prepared the set, aided in lighting and filming, and starred in the video by safely and correctly performing left turns while dealing with distractions.
