The annual Golden Globes award ceremony, which took place Jan. 5 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, gave awards in 27 different categories to some of Hollywood’s finest.
This year was historical for two major reasons: comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the ceremony, making her the first solo female host of the event in history, and Fernanda Torres’s won the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama, making her the first Brazilian woman to win a Best Actress Golden Globe award.
