In Jan., Inspiration Roll, a sushi burrito, poke bowl and ramen restaurant in downtown Westfield, moved to a new location, now sharing the space with sushi restaurant, Buddha Fish.
Inspiration Roll has been a staple of Downtown Westfield since its originally opened in 2016. It offers everything from hand-held sushi burritos, to rice bowls, to steaming hot bowls of ramen and unique appetizers such as Korean inspired french fries topped with kimchi. You can buy a personalized rice bowl with ingredients like mango, spicy tuna, cucumber, guacamole, wonton flakes and their homemade ramen noodle soup is perfect for a Winter Day inside.
The new location offers self-serve kiosks and pleasant indoor seating. While Inspiration Roll shares the restaurant with Buddha Fish, it doesn’t feel crowded and they’re divided by a separate entrance. It did not lose any of the charm and ambiance that made the old location great, and if anything, it has gained appeal.
“The fact that they have gluten free options for the noodles is super amazing, and it’s always loaded with toppings and piping hot. It’s perfect for sitting with a friend to talk and eat, especially when you’ve been walking around and it’s cold outside. It tastes really good too, it packs a punch of flavor,” sophomore Hannah Fox told The Fanscotian.
For Japanese food lovers, Inspiration Roll is the perfect place if you want more bang for your buck. With large portion sizes and some of the best ramen in the area, it is a superb lunch or dinner option after spending some time in Downtown Westfield.
