Starting today Monday, December 18, Scotch Plains Fanwood’s Student Government Association is hosting a Winter Spirit Week, before winter break. Students and staff are encouraged to dress in certain clothing on a day and there will be an SGA cafe on Wednesday, December 20.
Today, students are wearing their favorite holiday hats. Expect to see lots of Santa hats and beanies when walking the halls.
On Tuesday, everyone should dress in their coziest pajamas. This may include flannel pants or a matching holiday set.
On Wednesday, everyone should wear all white to mimic snow. Additionally, on this day, the Student Government Association will be having a cafe open before school.
At Door 12, starting at 7:30 a.m.coffee will be sold. The prices include $2 for hot coffee and $4 for iced coffee. There will be a variety of creamers available along with different types of milk. All coffee will be supplied by Blackdrop Coffee.
On Thursday, December 21, everyone will wear holiday sweaters. Whether they are cute or ugly, all sweaters are acceptable!
Lastly, on Friday, December 22, students are prompted to dress as their favorite holiday movie character. Some costume ideas could be Santa Claus, the Grinch or even a reindeer. This half-day will be a great start to winter break!
