After an unexpected crash landing in the year 2022, Adam Reed, teams up with his 12 year old self and is on a mission to save the future.

The movie begins with a throwback of “Gimme Some Lovin” by the Spencer Davis Group and gives the audience a jolt of excitement, following Adam Reed’s mission.

Adam Reed played by Ryan Reynolds is a time pilot living in a dystopian world in the future (2050). Adam is on a mission to uncover the truth behind his wife’s disappearance, doing anything he can to turn back time and save her.

Adam’s 12 year old self struggles with the loss of his dad (due to a car accident), and is constantly bullied for being small and having asthma. When the two meet, worlds instantly collide, and they team up to help repair older Adam’s jet and start looking for his wife.

Ryan Reynolds does a pehnoimal job of playing Adams’ character. He fits perfectly into the character’s persona. His facial expressions are by far my favorite part of the movie because he is so funny and never fails to make the audience laugh. Additionally, Walker Scobell (12 year old Adam) is an amazing actor for a thirteen year old. The two actors played their roles really well together, almost like they had a connection on and off of the set.

This movie is available on Netflix and was released on March 11, 2022. The run time is 1 hour and 46 minutes and is rated PG-13.

If you are looking for a good movie that has a genre of Science Fiction with a splash of comedy; this is the movie for you.
