“The Hustle” starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson is a smash hit comedy about con-artist and the “struggle” to get money. The two actresses go head to head trying to steal a young mans money.
Anne Hathaway plays Josephine Chesterfield, a successful con artist with millions. She even has a team behind her to help her with stealing. Rebel Wilson plays Penny Rust, a lowkey con artist. Unlike Hathaway’s character, she does not make much money being a con artist.
After watching the movie and pushing away the medial aspect of things in the movie, reviewers are claiming the movies uses of disabilities can be sensitive to viewers who have disabilities, and that the movie overused them. This is because both characters use guilt pleads to make the people they are trying to steal from saying they need money for the sisters disability operation.
Depending on the viewer, “The Hustle” could be a sensitive movie to some or a hilarious comedy to others.
