Helen Rabinowitz, a special education teacher who worked most recently with the English department, will retire this year. Rabinowitz began her career at Park Junior High School in 1977, and moved to the high school in 1984 where she has taught English, math and history. “I have tremendous respect for this school district.  For 36 years it has been part of my life,” said Rabinowitz. “I’ve been very fortunate to have worked in this town…I’ve never considered looking for a job in another district.” Once she retires, Rabinowitz plans to increase involvement at her daughter’s high school, make new friends, organize her house and spend time walking her dogs.
