Twenty-one students from Barcelona, Spain, spent a week in March experiencing American culture from the Scotch Plains-Fanwood perspective. During their stay here, the students visited New York City, Washington D.C. and the Jersey Gardens outlet mall. A welcome breakfast and concluding dinner were held for all students who participated in the program.
While the visitors from Spain reported having a great time in America, many of them missed their everyday rituals from home.
The Fanscotian asked the students to name their favorite part of the visit and what they most looked forward to about returning home.
